Last year, HotelTonight ran an ad campaign with several cross stitch pieces in hoops that everyone loved! I couldn't believe these pieces were created by a very talented graphic artist in San Francisco, I've never seen anyone do this so well - and I've sure seen a lot of people try. This year, HotelTonight asked me to create PDF patterns from three of their favorite ads from the campaign--it was pretty fun to do something completely in reverse from how I usually do it. The new Mouliné Étoile floss from DMC takes away the frustration of metallic floss by combining cotton and metallic in one! The 6-strand divisible thread has a twinkly effect that adds a delicate sparkle to any design. It's impossible to capture the true sparkle of this floss, it's so much more impressive in person.
