This transparent double coated adhesive tape is specifically designed for mounting stretched needlework to art boards, foam core, etc. (we sell 5x7" foam core boards if you need some.) An epic custom piece

The wonderful Claire Brown of The Bellwether (formerly Miso Funky) took on this custom request for me during the busy holiday season and did an amazing job for customer Ben Blench in the UK.
