I don't even know what to say about Houston. As a native Dallasite, this hits close to home. It's heartwarming to see people helping each other when the news and the world has seemed so divisive this summer (or longer). I'm in touch with an old friend who was rescued by boat from his house, which is seems surreal. One thing that's been great to see are the pet rescues - have you noticed there seems to be a dog in every boat? I've gleaned a collection of all kinds of pets helping out with cross stitch, including my all-time favorite disapproving cat with YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. What would we do without them??
