Introducing Juliet of Very Cross Stitching -- I saw her work on Instagram and had to share it with you. Come back to the link at the end of this article to see as we add more of her work on our site!

Hello there!

My name is Juliet and I am the girl behind Very Cross Stitching!

I live in the North-West of the UK, famous for the Industrial Revolution and the Suffragette movement amongst other things. Northerners are down to earth folk who don’t take themselves too seriously and I think this is reflected in some of my no-nonsense pieces.

I live with my husband, teenager, a Corgi and two cats, so basically five children at home.

I have always loved cross stitching and my first one I created is over 30 years old. I then decided to take it up again as I knew I was going on a long and boring journey some years back and downloaded some Subversive Cross Stitch patterns to do , caught the bug, got the software and started to create my own take on things. Lockdown time also made me extremely creative and I’ve not stopped stitching since and doubt I ever will (unless the carpal tunnel flares up again).

Although I create lots of different patterns, I have a fondness for traditional samplers, taking their essence and then recreating them with a dash of snark ready for the modern world.

We will offer more of Juliet's PDF patterns, but here's a start. See them all at this link!
