A Dose of Hopefulness

Posted by on

Sad? Overwhelmed? Totally flummoxed?
I think there must be stages to dealing with this crazy world, like dealing with grief. I don't know what they are, but hopefully you will get to the hopeful phase where you find what you can do to make the world a better place. Whether it's marching, protesting or stitching for therapy, please remember to vote in the midterms this November. It's more important now than ever. All is not lost.
Most importantly, don't despair! Or, if you find yourself in despair, take a step back, reset with some stitching, then get back up again. This image brightened my day. Feel free to save, print, and put it up where you'll see it every day.
And lastly, this:
Did you know you can get support via text if you're feeling overwhelmed?
This organization seems like they do pretty good work: Crisis Text Line.
Just text HELLO to 741741.
You are never alone.
