The wonderful Claire Brown of The Bellwether (formerly Miso Funky) took on this custom request for me during the busy holiday season and did an amazing job for customer Ben Blench in the UK. Here is the backstory:
"This is quote from my grandfather, Major R.A. Heape, who ran a pub called the Bay Horse in Rainton, North Yorkshire back in the 1950s. The family legend goes that one day the village children were playing a noisy game outside the pub. Tired of all the shrieking and shouting, my grandfather took his regimental sword in hand, opened up the front door of the pub, and stood, the sword held aloft, and roared the immortal words: ‘You can all FUCK OFF now. And what’s more, you can STAY fucked’. The children melted away and never bothered him again..."
The gift was given to his mother and now hangs underneath Major Heape's famous regimental sword. What a story!
